Ski Haus Bike Shop and Kayaks
The Ski Haus bike shop opened in the spring of 1991... 22 years ago. As with skiing and snowboarding, it grew out of our love for the sport of cycling. Each store is operated by cycling enthusiasts who sell and live the sport. However, we will not intimidate you or try to go over your head with tech talk, like so many bike shops. We will use our experience to find the most appropriate bike and accessory choices for YOU (within your budget), in the hopes that you develop the same love for cycling that we do. As John F. Kennedy once said, "Nothing compares to the simple pleasure of a bike ride".
We started selling Kayaks 6 years ago, and guess what... you're right... it was because we caught the Kayak bug ourselves. With so many great places around us to paddle, Kayaking has become a large part of our business. A high percentage of our sales these days is to people we had previously sold a kayak, who are buying additional kayaks for other family members or to have on hand for friends.
